AYM Changshu Company obtained P.R.C customs AEO advanced certification

On December 25, 2019, Adient Yanfeng(Changshu) Seating Mechanism Co.,Ltd (" AYM Changshu company") was officially issued the "AEO advanced certification certificate" by the customs of the People's Republic of China. Company executive deputy general manager MAO Haifeng accepted the honorary certificate granted by Changshu Vice Mayor Lei Bo  ,which is the first time AYM applied for and received the highest level customs enterprise credit relevant certification.

AEO stands for " Authorized Economic Operator " . The AEO concept is based on the Customs-to-Business partnership introduced by the World Customs Organization (WCO). Traders who voluntarily meet a range of criteria work in close cooperation with customs authorities to assure the common objective of supply chain security and are entitled to enjoy benefits.

AEO certification are classified into general certification and advanced certification enterprises. In order to deeply involved in the international trade security and facilitation formulated by the world customs organization, the General Administration of Customs issued and implemented “the new AEO certification standard” in 2019. The new standard has 31 clauses and covers the whole process of the supply chain, including internal control, financial condition, compliance with laws and regulations and trade security. The number of clauses has increased and the scope became broader.

Passing the AEO advanced certification of the customs means a great deal for AYM. In the future, it can not only bring the convenience of low inspection rate, the priority of customs declaration and the coordinator coordination mechanism, but also help to build the company's image internationally and comprehensive competitive power. Besides, it promotes the improvement of AYM's local business process.
